Featuring Electro, Green Goblin and Rhino, oh my!
Peter Parker (a very comfortable-looking and brilliantly-bequiffed Andrew Garfield) will be swinging his way into Irish cinemas this April and Sony have just released what they’re definitively calling the “Final Trailer.”
This latest clip is more of same as there’s plenty of Spidey leaping, jumping, swinging, spurting, contemplating, gliding, twisting, turning, rescuing, stone-skimming, catching and, most importantly, quipping – everything you look for in your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man.
“I do some web design” – wink, wink, nudge, nudge, web-spurt, web-spurt.
What we’re most excited about here at JOE HQ, however, is the new footage of the extended fight scenes between Spider-Man and best-friend-turned-worst-enemy Harry Osborn (the creepily brilliant Dane DeHaan) AKA the Green Goblin, and our hero’s other huge, manhole cover-launching battle against Paul Giamatti’s wrecking Rhino.
An always delightful Emma Stone has a brilliant blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment as she accidentally shouts “Peter!” at the departing Speder-Man, while Jamie Foxx and Chris Cooper are onboard as Electro and Norman Osborn respectively.
Or should we say, disrespectfully judging by their behaviour towards everybody’s favourite geeky teen who’s been bitten by a radioactive spider and has subsequently developed incredible super-powers.
