The Waterford man gave a dignified and passionate interview after finished fourth in the 400m hurdles final in Rio.

incredible finish saw him just miss out on a medal in the 400m hurdles final in Rio on Thursday afternoon, but he was determined to make the best of his new Irish record during his post-race interview with RTÉ.
The 24-year-old from Waterford came within a split second of securing Ireland's third medal of these Olympic Games, finishing like a steam train on the back straight, but just missed out.
"It’s once in a lifetime for some very lucky people… I’m definitely making the best of it," a breathless Barr said.
Speaking to David Gillick, he expressed some regret at running out of track at the end.
"If I had 405 metres you’d never know what would’ve happened."
