We think it’s gone past the bandwagon stage at this point.
How about that Ireland cricket team?
As if they hadn’t already provided enough excitement at the World Cup already, they did it again this morning with a thrilling victory over Zimbabwe in Hobart.
Ed Joyce hit a century and was named man of the match but Alex Cusack was the hero of the hour, taking four wickets and putting the final nail in Zimbabwe’s hopes of reaching the quarter-finals.
Ireland’s quarter-final ambitions remain on track, however, and while there’s still a bandwagon element about the support for the team, more and more people are beginning to stop and take notice.
And deservedly so. Well done lads.
Hope your nerves are ok after that! What a game of cricket! http://t.co/tM9eaxOk4V @TourismIreland #BackingGreen pic.twitter.com/6QI43iTbSg

Hilarity. Ed Joyce says that Cusack "has a cold heart. Wait, a cool head. That's what I meant." #CWC15
