The magazine issued an apology on Twitter earlier today.
Trinity College Miscellany Magazine have today issued an apology after the publication of an article which appeared to promote rape culture in a guide for the 2015 Trinity Ball, which takes place tonight.
Copies of the guide, which have since been recalled, included a story from an anonymous author detailing the experience of himself and his ‘eskimo brother’ who obtained entry to a past Trinity Ball event in the guise of paramedics.
The term ‘eskimo brothers’, according to Urban Dictionary, is a slang term referring to two males who have been intimate with the same woman and remain on good terms.

After copies of the guide were distributed on the campus, there was a backlash to the article online, forcing Trinity College Miscellany to recall the guides and issue an apology for their actions.
