Today is a landmark today in Ireland.
Last week we reported on it, and today the Minister for Justice and Equality Frances Fitzgerald has officially introduced the Marriage Bill in the Dail.
As the TD said, same sex couples can now truly feel like “equal citizens”, and Twitter was buzzing after the announcement.
