May the force be with you, boi.
Fresh from filming in Donegal over the weekend – where Daisy Ridley got involved in a trad session – the cast and crew of the latest episode in the Star Wars franchise are making their way to Kerry to shoot more footage over the coming days.
While a drive down the west coast along the Wild Atlantic Way would have been nice, the cast and crew instead flew down to Cork Airport, where the red carpet was rolled out for them before their journey west to neighbouring Kerry.
The Cork Airport official Twitter account really got into the spirit of things with pictures and videos of the arrival of the cast and crew, some of which may have been subject to a little bit of Star Wars-themed editing.
.@corkairport wish to advise that no Star Wars Cast will come through the terminal as the aircraft will be parked remotely. #flyfriendly

We’re sure the welcome will be just as friendly when they do get to Kerry; sure they’re practically locals there at this stage.
