If you’re looking to rent a property in the more densely populated parts of the country, you have our sympathy.
These two images appear to show the same house in Tallaght, in Dublin, where dozens of people are queuing up to view a house for rent.

Meanwhile, we were sent an image of what appears to be the same house by JOE reader Anna Burke.
Anna writes: “We turn up half an hour early for a rental house viewing and already the queue to view is out the garden and around the corner.
“There’s easily 30+ families queuing to see this €1200 three-bed in Tallaght up for rent. It’s ridiculous – just shows the extent of the housing crisis.”
Earlier, a report in The Irish Times stated how the housing crisis is about to get a lot worse before it gets better.
