This is currently an ongoing incident.
Gardaí have confirmed that they are at the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre responding to an incident.
Several reports have claimed that there is an armed man in the shopping centre, although that is currently unconfirmed.
Gardaí said they could not comment on exact details of the incident currently due to “operational reasons”.
There are reports online of armed gardai also at the scene, as the situation is still considered an active crime scene.
Locals have taken to Twitter to warn people away from the area, and Dublin Bus have cancelled all services to the centre for the moment.
