How are we supposed to procrastinate?!
As far as using your phone to procrastinate goes, Instagram is one of the better apps. It’s where we can look at people who are hotter than us on holidays that we can’t afford, eating food we’ve never even seen before.
Instagram truly is the sweetest escape.
So there was pandemonium on Wednesday morning as it appears that the app had crashed. Unsurprisingly, anyone who doesn’t like change has taken to other forms of social media to freak the hell out about Instagram’s absence.

Instagram being down is not a police matter. You can post photos of food again soon enough #NoFilter #InstagramDown

Instagram is owned by Facebook, which suffered a far more serious malfunction last week when it became apparent that as many as 50 million users had their data compromised by a security flaw that went unnoticed by Facebook’s security team.
Thankfully, as of 9:09am on Wednesday morning, Instagram has returned, and we can all resume our normal lives.
