COYBIG.
We’re sure we don’t need to tell you about what happened the last time Denmark came to town.
Crisitan Eriksen delivered one of the finest performances that the Aviva Stadium has ever seen in a 5-1 loss for the Irish side.
The result meant that Ireland would not qualify for the World Cup, and was one of the most worst moments of Martin O’Neill’s reign.
Unfortunately, things since then haven’t gotten much better.
There has seemingly been a new controversy emerging from the camp every week, and it doesn’t help that our most promising young player in years looks like he’s going to declare for England…
But anyway, we’ll go into this game with a bit of positivity, mostly because Eriksen is injured…
Undoubtedly the biggest story from the Irish team is that the Premier League player of the month Matt Doherty has is getting his first start.
Doherty was awarded the Player of the Month award for the month of September, beating out such talents as Eden Hazard, Sergio Aguero.
So here is the team that is going to try get a valuable three points in tonight’s Nations League game against Denmark.

It looks like it’s going to be a 5-4-1, with Shane Long leading the line on his own.
Come on lads!
