It was a predictably busy night for them.
Members of the Dublin Fire Brigade were forced to abandon their efforts of putting out a fire in Darndale on Halloween night due to anti-social behaviour.
Firefighters from the North Strand fire station attended the scene of two cars on fire in Darndale off the the R139.
However, crews at the scene encountered anti-social behaviour and were forced to step down from the scene due to safety concerns.
DFB said they received 200 call outs to deal with reported fire incidences on Thursday night.
Tallaght fire services attended a callout where two cars were set on fire blocking the entrance to an estate which resulted in a lamp post falling at the scene.
A portacabin in Malahide also resulted in a callout by the DFB.
Fire crews also attended the scene of a bonfire in Ballymun early on Friday morning, where smoke from the blaze was causing problems for residents.
