With a nationwide weather advisory set to kick in from 3am on Saturday (15 February) until 12pm on Monday, Storm Dennis is set to make an impact.
Before that, we have a new status yellow rainfall warning to contend with.
Issued by Met Éireann on Friday morning, the warning concerns the entire country, forecasting spells of heavy, locally thundery rain on Saturday that will lead to some flooding.
The warning is valid from 6am on Saturday until 9pm that evening.

Regarding the aforementioned advisory, the official word from Met Éireann is:
“Storm Dennis will bring some very wet and very windy weather over the weekend and into Monday. Some flooding is likely and damaging gusty winds with some disruption possible.”
