Met Éireann has published two updated Status Yellow rain warnings.
The first applies to the provinces of Leinster and Munster, as well as the counties Cavan, Galway, Monaghan and Roscommon.
Issued on Sunday morning, it is currently valid until 3am on Monday.
The second Status Yellow rain warning is for Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford and Wicklow.
Also published on Sunday morning, it will be in effect until 7am on Monday.
Both alerts state: “Heavy rain with isolated thunderstorms may cause disruption and localised flooding.”

Already in effect is a Status Orange rain warning for Cork and Waterford which is in place until 3am on Monday.
“Persistent heavy rainfall with isolated thunderstorms will cause disruption and localised flooding,” it reads.
