Summer got off to a flying start this weekend, as Rockshore took over Portmarnock with the Aprés Sea Festival.
For four hours, the White Sands Hotel in Portmarnock became a hub for summer vibes, music, cold beer and great food. The theme of the event was Aprés Sea, and with the sun beaming over Portmarnock for four glorious hours, it seriously made us excited for long summer days spent by the coast and nights spent in great company.
Missed the Rockshore Aprés Sea Festival? Here are a few of our highlights:
The soundtrack to Rockshore Aprés Sea came courtesy of three stellar DJs – the legendary Rudimental, one of the UK's best dance acts, BBC 1 Radio DJ Jaguar and RTE 2FM's Dance DJ Dave Treacy.
When hunger kicked in, we were absolutely sorted as The Salty Bouy was on hand, dishing up Rockshore battered fish and chips, lobster rolls and falafel wraps.
As we expected, Rockshore provided some refreshing drinks. Guests could choose from Rockshore Lager, Rockshore Cider and a Rockshore cider crush.
With great music, tasty food and a stunning day, guests danced the afternoon away, and as the sun set on Portmarnock, it felt as if summer had finally begun. Here's to more nights like this.
