The Roles
Be part of delivering Christmas to the nation. You’ll be responsible for delivering letters and packages, keeping An Post’s high standards and ensuring they deliver for their customers.
Postal Operatives
An Post are hiring for Postal Operative roles both delivering door-to-door and in our sorting centres across Ireland. The rate of pay is €16.28 an hour, and there will be a shifts premium where applicable. A full clean driving license is required for Postal Operatives delivering door-to-door.
HGV Drivers
An Post are also recruiting for Heavy Goods Vehicle drivers*, with a starting rate of pay of €17.36 per hour, plus additional payment for irregular hours. * Candidates must have a full and clean CE driving licence and up to date CPC Accreditations.
Candidate Specification
Successful candidates will ideally have experience in a similar working environment. They should be hard-working, reliable, committed with good organisational skills, and they should be flexible, efficient and effective in undertaking all practices.
