'Is This a Good Time?' brought to you by ESB Networks
Time to put your knowledge to the test!
Electricity is just one of those things. We can't see it, or hear it, so how can we take more control of it?
With the "Is This a Good Time?" programme, ESB Networks is empowering all electricity customers to proactively manage their energy usage by giving them information on how to take control of their own electricity usage.
The "Is This a Good Time?" programme launched last year and it sends emails and texts to participants (any electricity customer who signs up) letting them know when it's the best time to use electrical appliances, such as outside of peak hours or when renewable energy is being generated. In addition to this super-handy information, those who sign up for the programme also have the chance to get rewarded (subject to meeting eligibility criteria) for taking control of their energy use when prompted. For instance, if you are able to take action during an energy event and respond to the prompt, you will be asked to complete a simple survey to earn rewards for taking part.
You can learn all about how the "Is This a Good Time?" programme and how to sign up for rewards right here. In the meantime, why not test your energy knowledge? Take our quiz below and see just how energy savvy you are.
