In just a short number of days, The Penguin, the latest instalment from Matt Reeves’ The Batman saga is landing and will be available to stream with a NOW Entertainment Membership. We’ve just the experience that will allow fans to watch the first episode in style.
For one night only, NOW will be bringing the Gotham criminal underworld to Dublin with an exclusive special screening of The Penguin at the Little Pig Speakeasy on Wicklow Street, and we’re sending some lucky JOE readers plus a friend to the event.
Guests will be invited to step inside NOW’s very own Iceberg Lounge, a speakeasy the formidable Oz Cobb would be proud of. Guests journey will start by entering an unsuspecting phone box, where you will enter a secret code, to be granted access to the speakeasy, where The Penguin’s formidable world awaits. There, they’ll be invited to sample bespoke cocktails or grab a non-acholic drink, while tucking in to some tasty Italian plates.
The pièce de résistance of the evening? A screening of the very first episode of The Penguin. The series sees Ireland’s own Colin Farrell play the eponymous mobster, and the viewer is invited to delve into his fascinating backstory and discover how he transformed from unassuming mob boss Oz Cobb into one of Gotham’s most menacing villains.
The first episode lands on NOW on Friday 20 September and will be available to stream with a NOW Entertainment Membership, without a contract. You can then catch new episodes of The Penguin every Monday from 30 September.
