Microsoft will announce plans to hire 600 people at its Irish operations on Friday afternoon on yet another good news day on the jobs front in Ireland this week.
500 jobs will be created in a newly established Microsoft EMEA Inside Sales Centre, while a further 100 jobs will be made available across Microsoft’s existing operations, with openings in areas including Finance, Operations, Engineering and Sales.
More information will be revealed at an announcement at Microsoft’s Campus in the Sandyford Business Park in Dublin at 11.30am on Friday.
An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny, Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Mary Mitchell O’Connor and CEO of IDA Ireland, Martin Shanahan, will all be in attendance at the announcement.
The news comes only days after jobs website Indeed revealed that it would be making 500 jobs available in Ireland over the next two years.
