The body of Sidi Djalo was discovered alongside his injured eight-year-old daughter inside the family home in the Lisnahull Road area of Dungannon on Saturday morning.
The young girl was in a serious, but now stable condition in the Royal Hospital for Sick Children. The girl's mother (48) was also injured but released from hospital on Sunday evening.
Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s (PSNI) Major Investigation Team have charged a 16-year-old boy.
The teenager is charged with murder, two counts of attempted murder and threats to kill.
The boy is due in court this morning (Tuesday).
