Tom Malone Jr and his family announced the sad death of their beloved pet, Bob the Rottweiler.

The Manchester-based family was regularly joined by their dog on the Channel 4 show.

The family has appeared on the show since 2014, usually consisting of dad Tom, mum Julie and siblings Tom Jr and Shaun, plus an endless cast of furry friends including Dave, Izzy, Joe and Bob.

Sadly, in 2022 Lucy died, and 2023 Dave, now, the family has also revealed Bob has passed away.

Tom Jr, who left the show in 2021 to focus on his career, shared the news on Instagram.

"Good boy Bob….Rest easy big man," he captioned the post.

Mother Julie also took to social media to pay tribute to the pet: "Today we said goodbye to our beautiful, protective Bobby, he spent his last day doing what he loved, watching over the Grandchildren playing in the garden.

"We are heartbroken. RIP our beautiful Big Bob xx"

Fans reacted to the news, with one commenting, "Sending lots of love, Dave was waiting for him and they’re playing together now."

Another said: "Oh bless him sleep well sorry for your loss."
