Focus on breathing
Take a few minutes each day to practice taking deep breaths to help you to relax.
Make time for things you enjoy
Whether that’s playing sport, reading or cooking good food find time to do things that make you happy.
Identify your strengths
Sometimes we get distracted, comparing ourselves to others forgetting what we are good at. Discover where your strengths lie and remind yourself of them often.
Face challenges by tackling them early on
Start off by imagining all possible outcomes and preparing for each case. When you face the situation you will be better prepared and might also find that it might not the worst case scenario you anticipated.
Ask for advice when something is bothering you
Talking to someone and getting it out in the open can give you perspective as well as some support.
Take stock of your personal networks
We all have friends, family and other people in our lives who can support us in tough times. Work out who the people are in your life you can go to for support.
