Alcohol and children shouldn't be paired together. Their bodies and brains are still developing.
Alcohol can damage an area of the brain related to learning and memory, as well as the area responsible for logic, reasoning, self-regulation and judgement. Studying and taking exams can become more difficult and mental well being can also deteriorate.
Cutting down on alcohol doesn't just help the children who see you as a role model. It also has several benefits for your own physical and mental health.
The benefits of cutting down your alcohol intake
