A variety of snacks have now been taken off the shelf.
Aldi have quickly acted over a potential health scare following the news that some of their products were made in a ‘dirty’ factory. The retail giant has recalled any food that was made by Baketime Ltd because they feel that they might be contaminated by pests.
Belmont Ginger Nuts Biscuits are the product in question and the retailer has immediately suspended all orders with the supplier.
Only products with the batch codes L16047, L16048, L16061, L16062, L16068, and L16069 were affected. No other products or batch codes are affected by this recall in Ireland.
If you have happened to buy any of the following snacks in the U.K though, then you’re advised not to eat them and to return them for a full refund.
If you’re looking for any more information on the affected products then here it is.
