Do you have large testicles? If so, you should probably show them to your doctor and not in a ‘Hey Doc, look at my big awesome balls’ kind of way…

According to a group of Italian scientists, large testicles may heighten your risk of having heart problems later in life. In fact, large testicles may actually indicate poor health and the size of your testicles may be used to measure your risk of heart disease.

Giulia Rasterelli, from the University of Florence,  said, “Although it is generally assumed that testis size can predict reproductive fitness, our results indicate that this objective parameter can provide insights also on overall health and [cardiovascular disease] risk.”

However, we wouldn’t get too worked up about the news if you happen to be sporting a pair of Randy Marsh sized nards. The Telegraph reports: “… the study may not be applicable to the wider population as it only looked at men with a sexual dysfunction, who can often have other health problems.”

The researchers examined over 2,800 males who had attended a clinic for sexual health problems and they followed 1,395 of the men over a seven-year period. They found that the lads with the bigger balls tended to have an increased risk of heart disease.

So just be careful the next time you start boasting about your massive cojones.
