Birds Eye recall

Take note.

A batch of Bird’s Eye chicken nuggets has been recalled across Ireland over fears that the product may contain plastic pieces.

Birds Eye Ireland is recalling its 790g packet of 50 Chicken Nuggets with Golden Wholegrain.

The batch L9208 Z V124, with a ‘best-before’ date of October 2020, is to be taken off shelves across the country as it may potentially be unsafe for consumers to eat.

Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in affected retail stores that are selling this product.

No other batches or Birds Eye products are known to be affected, according to the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI).
