At just over 4km, the Cross Country Xperience is perfect for any recreational runners looking to try something new!

Even if your day isn’t complete until you’ve gone out for a jog, doing the same route can get a bit monotonous. If you’d love to mix things up a bit but aren’t sure where to start, this could be exactly what you need.

This Sunday, 20 October, the SPAR Cross Country Xperience is coming to the National Cross Country Track on the grounds of the Sport Ireland campus in Blanchardstown, Dublin.

While unknown to many, this track was purpose built specifically for Cross Country runners and is so well regarded internationally that it has been selected to host the 2020 European Cross Country Championships. Organised in association with Athletics Ireland, this is the first time the track has been opened to a recreational run.

With the benefits of cross country running including strength building and low joint impact, it’ll be the ideal opportunity for anyone looking to try a new experience.

€15 registration includes an official race T-Shirt & Medal as well as goody bag – you can also use code SPAR20 when registering to reduce the registration cost to €12!

If you want to register for the SPAR Cross Country Xperience, click here.

As you’ll see from the video below, there’s a lot to be said for running these beautiful surrounds rather than within the four walls of a gym!

Click here if you can’t see the video.

Registration includes an official race t-shirt, medal and SPAR Cross Country Xperience goody bag – Use code SPAR20 for 20% off registration.
