Dunnes Stores issues recall of turkey slices

Carl Kinsella

Dunnes Stores

Make sure you don’t have an affected batch in the fridge.

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has announced that Dunnes Stores is recalling a batch of its slow roasted turkey slices as the implicated batch was labelled with an incorrect ‘use-by’ date.

Consumers can identify whether or not they picked up one of the affected packs by checking the batch code (8253B2). You’ll also be able to tell whether or not your turkey slices are affected by checking the use-by date. Any turkey slices with a use-by date of November 22nd can be considered to be affected.

The FSAI has also included a photo of the product in order to help consumers make sure they don’t eat any of the affected meat.
