Easy Exercise of the Week: Bird-Dog Crunch

A great work-out for the abs.

Another exercise to help you along in your quest to have firmer abs. It’ll also help your glutes, hamstrings and shoulders.

Instructions:

  • Start on the floor on all fours, hands placed directly shoulder width apart and also keep your hips in line with your knees.
  • Lift your right hand and extend your arm straight out, keeping it shoulder height. At the same time you should be lifting your left leg and extending it straight back.
  • Bring your left leg to touch your right elbow under your stomach. Extend your leg and arm out again. Return to starting position. Repeat for desired amount of reps.
