Meat substitutes are fine, but plastic and rubber are not ideal.
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) has warned that supermarket Iceland is recalling a batch of its own-brand vegetable lasagne.
The FSAI further noted that “point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in stores supplied with the implicated batches”.
Consumers can identify whether or not they’ve bought an affected lasagne by checking the best-before date. Any lasagne with the best-before date of 03/08/21 should be returned.
The product originated in France.
The FSAI have provided a photo of the product in order to help consumers make sure they don’t have it in the fridge.
