Iceland recalls vegetable lasagne over possible presence of plastic or rubber
Meat substitutes are fine, but plastic and rubber are not ideal.
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) has warned that supermarket Iceland is recalling a batch of its own-brand vegetable lasagne.
The FSAI further noted that "point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in stores supplied with the implicated batches".
Consumers can identify whether or not they've bought an affected lasagne by checking the best-before date. Any lasagne with the best-before date of 03/08/21 should be returned.
The product originated in France.
The FSAI have provided a photo of the product in order to help consumers make sure they don't have it in the fridge.
