With just a month left, Brian lets us know the differences he has noticed and what is in store before the end of the challenge.
It’s hard to believe I’m heading into the third and final month of my challenge. The first seven weeks have flown by, which now has me quite concerned that the final four weeks will go by in a blur.
While Dan has been away I’ve done my best to push myself in each session, upping the weights and increasing my cardio by an extra set or two each time. The reason being, I wanted to cut as much fat as possible, so when Dan returns he can start the process of getting me ripped.
I hadn’t noticed a huge difference over the weeks and I was getting worried that all the work wasn’t massively paying off until I compared a photo from week 1 to week 7.
If this was to end tomorrow I would be pretty happy with those changes already.
People keep asking me the same questions regards my training and diet. Such as
- How many days a week do you do to the gym? – I’m in the gym 5-6 days a week now. Three of the days are double sessions with one in the morning and one in the evening. I do weights and cardio Monday, Tuesday, Friday and just cardio Wednesday, Thursday and sometimes Saturday.
- Can I drink alcohol? – Typical Irish question, the answer, No.
- Am I starving? – I probably eat more than most people, with three main meals a day and two snack meals in between.
- What’s the blue stuff I’m always drinking? – That’s Optimum Nutrition Amino Energy. I take a few scoops pre workout as it gives you a great boost in energy and the just one scoop during training. I’d recommend it to anyone.
- Is the training hard? – Yes.
From next week the program I’ve been on for the first 7 weeks will be changing. Dan is going to introduce Giant Sets to my workout. I don’t even know what they are, but I know they’re going to hurt.
