The finishing line has been passed and all that’s left is memories of the journey.
And what a journey it’s been.
JOE’s own Tara Moran has traveled a fair bit further than just the 26.2 miles she conquered during the SSE Airtricty Dublin Marathon.
Many may witness the 200m sprint to finish but only you will know what it took to get there #DublinMarathon pic.twitter.com/XR1oTFTxzc

There’s been countless smaller events and months of meticulous preparation. She really is an absolute trooper. Tara managed to finish the marathon in the fantastic time of four hours and thirty eight minutes.
It’s been a productive few months. ? pic.twitter.com/gVeql5lu8E — Tara Moran (@tazmorano) October 30, 2015
The above tweet is just a taste of the preparation that went into Tara’s successful marathon. Other JOE, Dave O’Kane, was suppose to join her on the journey, but he did the selfish thing of going and breaking his leg… anything to get out of training Dave.
Ok the hunt for a run buddy/@JOEdotie rep for next week’s 10 mile in Phoenix park. Poor @dok88 is out of the race ??? pic.twitter.com/xz6bNzVENS — Tara Moran (@tazmorano) August 15, 2015
When Tara finished the race there was only one thing on her mind and understandably so.
Fair play Taz… we guess now is as good of a time as any to start the preperation for next year’s event.
Our team’s training schedules were posted weekly on the SSE Airtricity website . You can follow their progress and replicate their training plans.
