Wonderful.
Artist Joe Caslin has established himself as one of the most artistic champions of social causes in Ireland. You may remember the wonderful mural that was created by the very talented artist on George’s Street, Dublin for last year’s Marriage Equality referendum.
The Roscommon man recently added to his impressive resume with this amazing piece of work in Belfast.
Caslin is back and he’s collaborating with Pieta House, the centre for the prevention of self-harm and suicide, and A Lust For Life, Bressie’s organisation that’s dedicated to improving the emotional wellbeing of people in an effort to raise awareness of the issue of mental health.
Caslin’s latest work is adorning the Ard Rí Hotel in Waterford and it has already been hailed as a very welcome addition to the city. Take a look.

Joe has also sent us this timelapse of the mural, which overlooks the city in a style not dissimilar to Brazil’s Christ the Redeemer statue.
