If you’ve ever left some food out of the fridge for more than a day you’ll know what happens.
We left an apple on a desk at JOE towers over the weekend once and by Monday it had decomposed, grown fur, sprouted legs and crawled off back into the wild.
That’s what makes this viral Facebook post even more weird.
Jennifer Lovdahl posted a picture of a Happy Meal she claims to have left out for six years – and it’s still pretty much exactly the same as when she first bought it. It’s not gone mouldy or decomposed one bit.
The American woman, who appears to be a health chiropractic clinic in Alaska, apparently did it as an experiment to show her patients about fast food.
You can even see the receipt for the nuggets and chips kids meal which appears to read January 8, 2010.
All we can say is thank God we don’t work in that office because after a few beers at the Christmas party, we’d be straight into that unattended Happy Meal…
