Protesting is the new American new hobby
Ever since the Women's marches that dominated American cities in the days following President Trump's inauguration, protests have become an activity of fervour the world over.
Rather than photos of brunch and cats clogging newsfeeds, there are videos of protests, homages to sassy signs and and there are rants, long winding rants by politically woke friends. Protesting is, dare we say, cool.
And that is a very hard word to own.

Not all protests are about the numbers on the streets, some of them are about getting exposure and in the case of the upcoming Rumps Against Trumps, it is about giving as much exposure as possible.
Protected by the American constitution's first Amendment which allows for mooning as a form of artistic expression- hundreds of people have indicated on facebook that they will be baring their 'butts' to President Trump's Chicago skyscraper on 12 February.

With pre-protestors already taking to the tower and expressing their distaste for Trump's lack of transparency and refusal to release his tax returns.

This kind of protest, while it may not gather the numbers of other marches in America, will undoubtedly generate a pile of cracking puns and keep the trend of the protest alive.
