Arouse your taste buds.
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 lb of steak, trimmed of fat and sliced thinly
- 1/2 cup of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of corn flour
- 3 cloves of diced garlic
- 3 tablespoons of sherry
- 3 tablespoons of honey
- 1 teaspoon of minced fresh ginger
- 2 tablespoons of sesame oil
- 1/2 cup of beef broth
- one head of broccoli, cut into small florets
Instructions:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, corn flour, garlic, sherry, honey, ginger, sesame oil and beef broth. Set aside until ready to use.
- Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan and cook the steak until it starts to brown, about 4 to 5 minutes. Add sauce and stir in with the steak, it should start to thicken immediately. Add broccoli and cook for an additional 2 minutes until broccoli is tender and sauce is thickened.
- Serve with rice or noodles.
