Make sure you don’t have these in the freezer.

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) has confirmed that supermarket Iceland has issued a recall of its 60 Chicken Dippers product over fears of contamination. The products originated in the United Kingdom.

In a statement issued this weekend, the FSAI said: “Iceland is recalling its 60 Crispy Chicken Dippers as some packs may contain pieces of hard plastic. The presence of plastic makes this product unsafe to eat.” In case that’s unclear, eating plastic is bad.

“Consumers are advised if you have bought the above product do not eat it.” Good advice, you’d have to admit.

The warning applies to all batch codes, meaning that you should not eat the product no matter what best before date is on it.

The FSAI has also included a photo of the product to help consumers make sure they don’t eat it.
