That is according to a survey conducted by Durex as part of their #DoNotDisturb campaign, which is attempting to get Irish people to turn off their WiFi this summer and reconnect with one another.
The survey found that as many as 67% of Irish people would rather touch their phone than their other half, while 25% admit to checking their mobile as soon as ten minutes after sex.
Meanwhile, for those of us who insist on WhatsApping and the like in bed (around 61%, according to the survey), we might want to stop soon, because it's putting off 66% of those asked from engaging in the good deed.
Finally, and perhaps most fatally, a hugely significant 70% of 18-34 year olds surveyed confessed to being internet addicts.
