Tasty and easy to make protein recipes: Avocado tuna salad
A healthy and filling dish that can be whipped up and ready to eat in less than five minutes.
Ingredients:
- 1 avocado
- 1 lemon
- 1 red onion
- 1 stick of celery
- 1 can of tuna, drained
- Salt and pepper
Directions:
- Chop up some celery and red onion and place in a bowl.
- Scoop the filling out of the avocado and place it into the bowl. And salt, pepper and lemon juice for seasoning and blend all the ingredients together.
- Add in the tin of tuna and blend together until the mixture has a smooth texture.
- The dish is ready to serve
Serving suggestion: Place the salad back into the hollowed avocado and eat, or alternatively, use it as the filling for a healthy sandwich.
