VIDEO: Mayo priest recreates famous Father Ted scene to promote Pieta House charity race
Up with this sort of thing.
Chances are you’ve heard of Mayo priest Father John Kenny before.
A star of the recent Operation Transformation series on RTE for helping his parishioners to get into shape, he’s been known to take selfies featuring a famous face or two and judging by his Twitter account, he’s fit as a fiddle too.
@clbleakley Fr Johnny here. We met on the Reek last September. You have done us all proud on the Wild Atlantic Way. pic.twitter.com/TfOCYXhzq9

With that in mind, John is promoting an event to help raise funds for Pieta House, the suicide and self harm crisis centre, later this month.
With a little help from some talented friends, he recreated a famous scene from Father Ted to help him do so.
The acting from all parties here, including John, is very impressive; a great bunch of lads (and ladies) indeed.
Pedal, Paddle, Pilgrimage and Party for Pieta House takes place on May 21; for more information, check out the event Facebook page.
Darkness into Light 2016, the flagship event for Pieta House, takes place in a number of locations across Ireland this weekend. For more information, click here.
