There’s a lot to take in in that headline but trust us, it’ll make sense as soon as you read on.

You may or may not have already heard about SkyBalls but if you haven’t, it’s a charity initiative that aims to raise £100,000 to build a fully-operational hot-air balloon in the shape of a giant scrotum to help raise awareness of testicular cancer. You heard us.

The campaign, fronted by Irish actor Chris O’Dowd, is the idea of the Male Cancer Awareness Campaign in the UK and is trying to raise money to fund the project through the website Indiegogo.com. To help get some momentum behind the campaign, O’Dowd had appeared in a video in which Robert Franzese – known as the real-life Peter Griffin – sings a cover of Adele’s ‘Skyfall’ titled, you guessed it, ‘SkyBalls’.

Mad as the idea of a song about a giant pair of testicles might sound, it’s actually pretty catchy when you give it a listen and it’s for a great cause too so if it can help raise more awareness of the campaign all the better.
