Rob and Dave Kearney would definitely be a shoo-in for Ireland's fittest set of brothers.
When it comes to training and recovery, it pays for the Ireland and Leinster backs to know their stuff. That's why we were all ears when the two lads were interviewed on their fitness regime as part of their role as ambassadors with the National Dairy Council.
First up, they discussed their training schedule and how much time they spend in both the gym and doing ball work.
Then the guys talked about the importance of their pre and post-training diet and how this affects their physical recovery.
A key ingredient in both men's diet is milk. Skimmed milk is an excellent re-hydration option for after exercise, as research has shown that it helps reduce exercise-induced muscle damage.
Another focus of research is the benefit of chocolate milk as a post-workout recovery aid following endurance exercises. As milk is a source of protein, research studies also show a role for dairy/dairy protein in muscle adaptations to exercise.
Let's hope both men can be on top form when Ireland kick-off their World Cup campaign on September 19.
