Video: Some genius has invented boxer shorts that can hide an erection

Think of the embarrassment this will prevent

No exaggerrating; this could be the most important invention since the Internet.

It often sounds like a lame excuse we give to the opposite sex, but all men know that erections sometimes come upon us for no reason whatsoever, usually when we least want them to.

There are occasions, of course, when we’ll get one for entirely understandable reasons, but that’s neither here nor there for now.

Hiding said erection is a task that men deal with in a variety of different ways.

Some are patient and wait for the soldier to stand down, while others will shift it to the side, up under their belts or walk in an unconventional manner in an attempt to disguise the bulge downstairs.

All our prayers could well be answered as some geniuses in the US have invented a product known as ‘Bloxers‘ which incorporate an in-built deflector shield which covers your crotch and deflects you to your chosen side.

One of the people involved with the company, the appropriately named Chris Woods, told Buzzfeed that he was inspired to create the product having recently watched Anchorman and one scene in particular.

Woods said that the panels will make you feel like you’re wearing a pair of smaller boxers on one leg, although if you’re prepared to stump up a little extra cash, you can get a pair of ‘Switch Hitters,’ you know, to mix things up a little.

You can’t actually buy a pair of ‘Bloxers’ yet but you can contribute to the company’s Indiegogo campaign, which will bring the product one step closer to reality.

As well as that, the company are planning to give 25% of profits to prostate cancer research, so there’s extra reason for handing over your hard-earned cash.

Men of the world rejoice, a great new invention has just been horn born.
