‘Tis the season to get tested!
Ireland’s youth information website, SpunOut.ie, has today launched a Sexual Health Awareness Week which will run from today, 1 December, until Friday 5 December.
STI testing can be an embarrassing and cringe-worthy subject if you let it, so the aim of this week is to normalise regular STI testing and get every young person who is sexually active to get a full sexual health screening before Christmas.
Getting tested is easy and it will help you diagnose any STIs which you didn’t know you had. You can get it treated and remove the risk of you transmitting your infection to somebody else.
To show you how easy it is, SpunOut.ie have created a video outlining how straight-forward and painless it is to get an STI test.
