It’s not a rare occurrence that posts about mental health will go viral on Irish social media.
The reason for that is because a terrifying amount of men and women in Ireland can relate to the pressures of facing a mental health problem.
Doug Leddin, a young man from Dublin, has posted a very personal account of his own tribulations with mental health to his Facebook page.
In the video, he describes the difference between the life he led in front of his friends and family and the torture that was going on inside his own mind.
The video has picked up over 1,000 Likes in an hour, which tells us everything we need to know about how well people in Ireland can relate to problems with mental health. Watch the video here:
