The WellGood challenge is also totally free.

Deciding you want to improve your fitness and overall wellbeing is one thing, but sticking to a plan is another. Focusing on cutting out crappy foods can often lead to forsaking your exercise routine, and vice versa.

We all have something we’d like to work on or improve about ourselves. If you are having trouble achieving your own fitness or wellness goals, it sometimes helps to have a professional in your corner.

The only way to go is having it all set out in front of you in black and white, which is what the WellGood challenge is all about. All you have to do is sign up to it, and you’ll receive nothing but the best advice from some of the top experts in the country.

The programme is curated by five renowned wellness experts;

  • performance psychologist Gerry Hussey
  • best-selling cookery author & healthy lifestyle enthusiast Roz Purcell
  • Dublin GAA player and fitness entrepreneur Philly McMahon
  • yoga instructor Lee Tracey
  • registered dietitian Orla Walsh

It officially started on Monday, 4 March, but you can join in at any time and access all the advice and content already published. There will be videos, podcasts, healthy recipes, workouts and plenty more posted online to sink your teeth into long after the challenge itself has ended.

The challenge is taking place ahead of WellFest, which is in the Royal Hospital, Kilmainham on the weekend of 11 & 12 May 2019.

Just by taking part in the challenge, you could nab yourself some tickets to the festival. All you have to do is share your progress on social media by tagging @wellfestirl and @kbcbankireland, as well as use #KBCWellGood.

To get a better idea of the kind of stuff you can expect to see as part of the challenge, have a look at the video below. If there is one man who can help you bring your workouts to the next level, it’s Dublin footballer Philly McMahon.

And make sure to pop along to the KBC WellGood tent at WellFest in May to get some fitness advice from the man himself! Start the challenge here.
