Speculation that Manchester United will use Dimitar Berbatov as bait in a bid to acquire Luka Modric from Tottenham has arisen this morning.
It’s been somewhat of a love/hate relationship for Alex Ferguson and the former Spurs striker, particularly this season, and the Irish Daily Star seems to think Fergie wants to offload the sulky frontman as part of an exchange deal for the sought after Luka Modric.
