The UFC’s main man is very impressed by some hurling highlights. Good job he didn’t see Kilkenny v Waterford.

Sometimes us Irish folk we forget just how amazing hurling is. Exposed to it since childhood, we cn take for granted the levels of skill, aggression and magic there is in the sport. It often takes a pair of new eyes to really appreciate just how great it is and today playing that role is UFC commentator Joe Rogan. This video, which was tweeted out by Cage Warriors press manager Paul Dollery last night, featured Rogan, along with comedian Dom Irrera watching a hurling highlights video. Irrera, a frequent visitor to the Kilkenny Cat Laughs Festival, knows a bit about the game but poor old Joe is a hurling virgin, and is suitably impressed by our national sport.
