Wayward penguin ‘Happy Feet’ feared eaten by killer whale

We have a weekend for you and three of your mates in Killarney to give away and we only have one condition…

Are you fit, or at least reasonably active? Have you got three mates who are up for a laugh and a challenge? Are you free on October 6 and 7? If you answered yes to all three of those then this is the competition for you.

As you may know Killarney Adventure Race is one of the best events of its kind in the country. It returns on October 6 this year and the good people who are organising it would like a team of JOEs to take part.

Thanks to the generosity of the organisers we have one full team entry to give away. We are looking for someone who can convince three friends to join him in the four-man relay race and let us have a chat with them before, maybe during, and definitely afterwards.

With cycling, mountain running, kayaking and more cycling on the agenda, we will leave it up to you to decide who does what but with three options of race distance (25km, 57km and 67km) there should be no problem for all four of you to get the job done.

Not only do we have that entry, which is worth €200, we also have some very fancy gear from race sponsors Helly Hansen. It could be just what you need if you are new to the world of adventure racing.

And, of course, if we are sending you down to such a beautiful location, we have to throw in two night’s accommodation for all four of you.
