Adam Johnson’s neck was cut during a match.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter in connection to the death of Adam Johnson, an ice hockey player, at the end of October.
Johnson died while playing for Nottingham Panthers against the Sheffield Steelers, when he suffered was what described as a “freak accident” at the time.
The American Ice Hockey player was just 29.
South Yorkshire Police have released a statement confirming that the man was arrested on Tuesday and remains in police custody.
