A brilliant tribute to a brilliant man...

This year unfortunately saw the passing of the great John Hurt, a phenomenal acting talent who had a very strong and special relationship with Ireland.

In honour of the wonderful actor, the Audi Dublin International Film Festival is screening a very special tribute screening of the critically-acclaimed Snowpiercer, taking place in The Savoy in Dublin at 7.30pm this evening (Friday 24 February).

Additionally, a donation from the screening will be made to a charity of the Hurt family's choice.

Released in 2013, Snowpiercer was disappointingly never released in Ireland, but this is your chance to now see it in all its glory on the big screen at the Irish premiere of Bong Joon-ho's brilliantly bonkers dystopian sci-fi.
